Local author event Saturday
JOSHUA CHADD
IRON MOUNTAIN–Local author Joshua C. Chadd will talk about writing the award-winning zombie apocalypse series, “The Brother’s Creed,” on from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Dickinson County Library in Iron Mountain.
Chadd will share how he became a writer, the inspiration for his book series, tips for self-publishing, and offer a question-and-answer session. He will sign books, which will be available for sale.
Two brothers fight to survive the end of the world with their faith and humanity intact in Chadd’s best-selling “Brother’s Creed” series. The story line: “As a zombie virus spreads across America, the remaining survivors must band together to fight not only the walking dead, but the living as well. Gathering a group around them, the Andderson brothers’ journey to the Alaskan wilderness is met with constant hardship and death. But as the world crumbles around them, they will come to realize they cannot lose what makes them human. They must hold on to faith and hope or all is lost, and they will not survive the coming apocalypse.”
Chadd resides in the Upper Peninsula with his wife, son, guns and katanas. He has a passion for all things imaginary and finds inspiration in the wilderness, away from the distractions of life.
He is currently pursuing a career as an indie author and writing coach. Some of his other passions include hunting, shooting, board and video games, hard rock, reading, and anything fantasy and sci-fi.
