IRON MOUNTAIN -- The Finnish American Raja Ryhma Group will host its annual Juhannus Day Picnic on Saturday at the Bradley Maki Memorial Pavilion near the deer park in Iron Mountain City Park.
The meet and greet begins at noon, with a potluck picnic at 12:30 p.m. Attendees are asked to bring their favorite dish to share and their own plate and utensils. Coffee and lemonade will be provided.
Music for listening and dancing will be provided by local artist, Paula D.
Everyone is welcome. You don't have to be a club member or even be Finnish to join in the celebration.
Annual dues for membership can be paid at the picnic and are $10 for a family and $6 for a single person. Dues can also be mailed to Finnish American Raja Ryhma, P.O. Box 565, Iron Mountain, MI 49801.
