Lemke hired as health and well-being educator

MARINETTE, Wis. –The University of Wisconsin-Madison Extension in Marinette County has hired Danielle Lemke as its health and well-being educator for the county.
Lemke will design, deliver, and evaluate educational programming and services related to youth and family health and well-being, including physical, social and emotional health.
Initial programming efforts may include stress management and positive coping skill education to youth and adults, empowering teens to address mental health and reduce associated stigmas, and working with community health coalitions.
Lemke graduated from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse with a degree in public health and community health education. She has implemented and evaluated well-being programs for youth and adults. She also has experience working with community partners to address health inequities.
“Danielle will be an asset to the extension program in Marinette County,” said Nancy Crevier, area extension director. “She will be working within the county to improve individual, family and community health.”
