MELANIE ROSE PERFORMS Thursday at Music in the Park in Niagara, Wis.

NIAGARA, Wis. — Singer/songwriter Melanie Rose will play from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at Music in the Park under the pavilion in Heights Park in Niagara.

She has had a passion for singing as long as she can remember. After a few different career paths — and becoming a mother — she has started pursing her music career over the past 10 years, most recently releasing her first album, “So Long.”

Music in the Park is sponsored by Nicolet Bank of Niagara. Refreshments are provided by the Niagara Women’s Civic Club.
