NORWAY — The first “Rock the Underground” event takes place Sunday at the underground house on W6044 Kimberly Road in Norway.

The band Sweet Heet of northern Illinois will perform a variety of classic rock ‘n’ roll music from 2 to 6 p.m. on the 3-acre lawn.

All who attend are asked to bring chairs or blankets to enjoy the concert. Admission is free, but a free-will donation will be taken for the band.

Smokler’s BBQ will be on-site, as well as beverage and ice cream vendors.

Homeowner Lyn Verthein will be offering tours of the underground home throughout the day.
