Author event on Thursday
CRYSTAL FALLS — The Crystal Falls Community District Library, in partnership with the U.P. Publishers and Authors Association, has regularly scheduled author events with authors named to the U.P. Notable Book List.
The 20th event will be at 7 p.m. Eastern time Thursday with Phil Bellfy, whose book “U.P. Colony: The Story of Resource Exploitation in Upper Michigan — Focus on Sault Sainte Marie Industries,” is a bold re-interpretation of 300 years of history in the Soo that leads to some startling conclusions.
The events are open to all U.P. residents free of charge. The event will be on the Zoom platform. To participate, contact Evelyn Gathu in advance at egathu@crystalfallslibrary.org or by calling 906-875-3344.
