FLORENCE, Wis. -- The Northwoods Geology Club meets at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, in the lower level of the Florence Natural Resource Center – follow the DMV signs.
Michael and Ruth Riesch of the Earthaven Museum will be giving a presentation entitled, "When Smokeys Get In Your Eyes". It's about smoky quartz from around the world. The Rieschs give wonderful, informative and entertaining programs.
Friends of the Resource Center are helping sponsor this presentation. Coffee and treats will be available. The public is invited.
