UW-Madison announces dean’s list, graduate
MADISON, Wis. — The University of Wisconsin-Madison has recognized students named to the dean’s list for the spring semester.
Students who achieve at a high level academically are recognized by the dean at the close of each semester. To be eligible for the dean’s list, students must complete a minimum of 12 graded degree credits in that semester.
Local students on the list include:
Florence, Wis. — Kathleen Selden, School of Business, dean’s list; Ellie Valentine, School of Pharmacy, honor roll;
Iron Mountain — Haley Gabriel, College of Letters and Science, dean’s list.

MADISON, Wis. — Alex Garvaglia of Niagara, Wis. was among more than 1,800 students who received degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Madison during a commencement ceremony at the Kohl Center in December.
She received a bachelor of science in kinesiology from the School of Education.

MILWAUKEE — Elliot Johnson of Iron Mountain was named to the Milwaukee School of Engineering’s dean’s list for the winter and spring quarter.
Johnson is pursuing a bachelor of science in mechanical engineering.
Undergraduate students who have earned at least 30 credits and have a cumulative GPA of 3.20 or higher (out of 4.0) are on the dean’s list.

GROVE CITY, Pa. — Michael Halley of Kingsford, a political science major at Grove City College, has been named to the dean’s list with distinction for the spring semester.
Halley is a 2020 graduate of Veritas Scholars Academy and is the son of Michael and Jacquelyn from Kingsford.
Students eligible for the dean’s list have a GPA of 3.40 to 3.59; for the dean’s list with distinction a GPA of 3.60 to 3.84 and for the dean’s list with high distinction a GPA of 3.85 to 4.0.

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire has named its students on the spring dean’s list.
Local students include:
Iron Mountain — Macy McCormick, College of Education and Human Sciences;
Iron River — Colbi Laturi, College of Education and Human Sciences;
Niagara, Wis. — Bailey Broullire, College of Nursing and Health Sciences; Erin Hanson, College of Arts and Sciences;
Norway — Danae Anderson, College of Education and Human Sciences.

POTSDAM, N.Y. — Kylee Rae Erickson of Iron River, received a master of science in physician assistant studies, from Clarkson University in May.

ASHLAND, Wis. –Kaylee Pifke of Iron River has graduated from Northland College with a bachelor of science in biology.
