KINGSFORD -- The Dickinson County Community Chorus will begin its annual Christmas season with the first rehearsal scheduled at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the fellowship hall of the First Presbyterian Church at 395 Hamilton Ave. in Kingsford.
The rehearsal will begin preparations for the upcoming "Sounds of Christmas" concert. Rehearsals will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesdays in the fellowship hall.
The Christmas concert will be presented on Nov. 28-29 at the Kingsford High School auditorium.
There is no charge for membership in the chorus, and there are no auditions.
However, prospective new members should possess some knowledge of choral singing. There are only 12 rehearsals so regular attendance is required with rare exceptions for unavoidable absences. Go to http://www.communitychorus.org for detailed information and updates.
