MARSP luncheon planned Sept. 15
IRON MOUNTAIN — The Dickinson Chapter of the Michigan Association of Retired School Personnel will meet Thursday, Sept. 15, at Pine Grove Country Club. Mary Stolze, R.N., an army nurse in the Vietnam War, will present the program “M*A*S*H Revisited, the Real Story.” Reservations are required.
A social hour with coffee provided will begin at 11 a.m., followed by a noon luncheon. A cash bar will also be available.
The noon luncheon will feature chicken stir fry over rice with an egg roll and a house salad and roll for $18. A chef salad for $14 is available on request when making reservations, either online or when contacted.
No alterations may be made to either selection.
Those who have not been contacted by today can email MARSP at dcmarsp@gmail.com or call Pam Trask at 906-779-9157 to make a reservation. The deadline is noon Friday to add or cancel reservations.
Members are asked to bring used eyeglasses to be donated to a sponsored outreach clinic.
This meeting is for MARSP members and their spouses, but the group welcomes any retiree from the Michigan public schools who is interested in joining MARSP or renewing membership.
