‘Clue’ to be shown Friday in Crystal Falls

CRYSTAL FALLS — The Crystal Theatre invites the public to include the movie “Clue” in their Halloween weekend. The popular 1985 “whodunnit” mystery will be shown at 7 p.m. Friday.

“Clue” stars the ensemble cast of Eileen Brennan, Tim Curry, Madeline Kahn, Christopher Lloyd, Michael McKean, Martin Mull, Lesley Ann Warren, and Colleen Camp.

Six blackmail victims are invited to an isolated mansion by a man who knows a dark secret from each of their pasts. On arrival, each is given a pseudonym and handed a weapon. When the lights are switched off, the blackmailer is killed. The guests must uncover the murderer before they all become victims.

Inspired by the nature of the Clue board game, the film’s initial release featured different endings, with one of three possibilities sent to movie theaters at the time.

All three endings will be included in Friday’s showing at Crystal Theatre.

“So come find out who dunnit, in what room, and with what weapon … or is that how it really happened,” Crystal Theatre’s managing director said.

Attendance at the film is by donation.

Starting at $3.50/week.
