ESCANABA — Bay College continues its 2022 Besse Center concert series Friday with Michael Waite.

Singer-songwriter Waite released his new album titled “We’ve Always Been at Home.” Joining Waite is his band: Adam Sawfox, Eric Marta, Eli Bender, Rachel Capon and Ben Campbell.

This album features songs that are playful observations about human nature written in Waite’s home that he built for his family in the Huron Mountains.

Other performances are:

— Back on the Besse stage is Victoria Vox performing Monday,with her ukulele, of course. Vox is famous for using looping, percussive and unique vocal elements in her original songs.

— In celebration of the college’s 60th anniversary, Gordon Lightfoot Tribute will perform Thursday, Nov. 3. Mike Fornes and the band will be featuring “Lightfoot — The Stories, The Songs.”

Audiences will learn the fascinating backstories and hear the iconic songs of Gordon that captivated millions during the ’60s, ’70s, and ’80s. This remarkable program pays tribute to the artist’s legacy of music, songwriting and history.

All concerts start at 7 p.m. in the Besse Theater on Bay’s main campus in Escanaba.
