Yoga classes in Aurora, Florence through December

Florence, Wis. — Yoga classes by Lynn Mueller of the iCanYoga2 studio are scheduled through December, through a partnership with the Aging and Disability Resource Center of Florence County, iCanYoga2 and Public Health of Florence County.

Classes are at the Northeast Wisconsin Technical College site in Aurora, Wis., on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with slow flow yoga from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. and chair yoga from 10 to 11 a.m.

Chair yoga classes are offered from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesdays at the Florence Natural Resource Center.

Cost is $5 per session to be paid at each class. Classes will not take place at either location the weeks of Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day.

The program is appropriate for both sedentary and active adults. Chair yoga is for those individuals who feel they need extra support, but it is not required. Classes are open to all adults.

Mueller, a Florence High School graduate, is a 500-hour certified yoga instructor and has had personal success in participating and leading yoga classes.
