IRON MOUNTAIN -- The inaugural Iron Mountain Downtown Art Crawl will take place next week, starting Monday, according to the Iron Mountain Public Arts Advisory Committee, in collaboration with the Iron Mountain Downtown Development Authority.
The Art Crawl is a community strolling event that, with the support of local businesses, will showcase a local artists' work in their front display.
Maps will be provided to guide patrons to local businesses where art will be on display. Participants may even get in on some great deals shopping local during Girls Night Out.
Thanks to the community, the Iron Mountain Public Arts Advisory Committee has been able to schedule upcoming events such as a Holiday Art Show at Venue 906 in December; a Winters Evening Art Reception in late January at Pine Grove Country Club that will display the works of Joseph Santi, Alyssa Knoll and Laura Bailey; and finally an Anime Art Show at the Maxx Entertainment in February.
