Door prizes have been announced for the Fire & Ice fundraiser set Saturday, Nov. 12, at Venue 906 in Kingsford. Proceeds from the event go to benefit the Dickinson County Cancer Unit Loan Closet. From left, Dawn Caruso displays the grand prize garnet and white topaz necklace and earrings, valued at more than $550, donated by Erickson Jewelers; Joan Pataconi shows a bucket of popcorn and a soda that represents the Tri-City Cinemas 8 package second prize valued at $300 from Thomas Theatre Group; and Mindy Meyers displays third prize artwork valued at more than $125, which was donated by herself and Jenna Freimuth of The Wondermakers Collective. Doors for the event open at 4 p.m. Vendors, raffles, 50-50 drawings, appetizer buffet, fudge delights and signature drinks available until 8 p.m. Dancing with Mike Prusinsky and Safe Sax entertainment from 8 to 11 p.m. Tickets are $25 in advance and on sale at Erickson Jewelers, O.M.GIGI Boutique, Exhale 906 and WJNR Studios through Nov. 10. Tickets will be available at the door for $30. Tickets for dance are $8, beginning at 7:30 p.m., also available at the door. Attendees must be 21 to enter and present to win.
