IRON RIVER — The Iron County Genealogical Society will meet at 1 p.m. Thursday in the J. Patrick White conference room of the West Iron District Library.

Pat Turner will present a program based an article and photo from the Diamond Drill, “Lone Grave Site,” March 28, 1968. The lone grave of Edmond Fitzsimmons, who died Feb. 27, 1886, was discovered in the Kimball location.

With information from the Harbour House Museum, the story of an early cemetery and the move/change to Evergreen Cemetery will be told.

Dues were payable in July.

Visitors are welcome. Meetings are open to all individuals.
