Horror writer Andy Davidson on Zoom
CRYSTAL FALLS — The Crystal Falls District Community Library will host a Zoom chat with horror writer Andy Davidson at 6 p.m. Wednesday.
Davidson has written three horror books — “In the Valley of the Sun,” “The Boatman’s Daughter,” and his newest novel, released last month, “The Hollow Kind.”
In the summer of 2020, the library’s Adult Summer Scares Book Club read “In the Valley of the Sun.”
“This book catapulted into my top five modern fiction reads ever list,” said Evelyn Gathu, director of the Crystal Falls Library.
She noted they then met with Davidson on Zoom, adding he was a gracious and humble person.
“My sister even had her book club read the book after reading it for Summer Scares, and Andy met with her group, too,” Gathu added. “I think he is an author you should get to know — especially if you like great writing that builds twisty tales into exciting, rising action that leads to heart-stopping and jaw-dropping conclusions.”

All are welcome to join the Zoom chat.
“I really think that if you like reading and well-written books, you need to get to know Andy,” Gathu said.
