VULCAN -- St. Barbara Catholic Church Women's League will sponsor their annual Hunter's Bake Sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. today and Sunday, and again from 9 a.m. to noon Monday at the parish hall in Vulcan.
Bakery will also be for sale following the Mass at 6 this evening.
Shoppers are asked to use the street level entrance.
A large assortment of homemade pies, bars of all kinds, breads, and cookies will be offered, as well as home canned items and the group's famous polenta.
In conjunction with the sale, the Women's League will conduct a raffle. They have prizes to intrigue everyone -- from hunters to bird watchers, from game players and night sky observers, to those who enjoy time in the kitchen. Tickets are $1 each or six for $5.
The Women's League notes that the sale isn't just for the hunters -- everyone is welcome to enjoy these wonderful treats and they look forward to sweetening your lives.
