The Dickinson Area Community Foundation, along with affiliates Norway Area Community Foundation and Crystal Falls Area Community Foundation, recently awarded a $500 Community Impact Grant for a dinner honoring local veterans. This grant was made possible in part due to a generous match from the Pasahow Family Fund. The Dickinson County Area Veterans Alliance will host a dinner honoring all local veterans Friday at the American Legion Post 50 in Iron Mountain. Doors will open at 5 p.m., with dinner served at 6 p.m. From left, Tamara Juul, director of the community foundation, presents the check to event coordinators/volunteers Gladys and Ferrand Ethington.
