Beginning Next Week: The Daily News presents local fiction with ‘Bite of the Wolf’ serialization

Local writer Mick Gayan with his recently published thriller fiction novel “Bite of the Wolf.”

For the eyes of Daily News readers only, the exciting tale “Bite of the Wolf” will be presented every day the week of April 17.

“Bite of the Wolf” has recently been published in novel form by local writer Mick Gayan, who publishes under the pen name Wade Walker. The Daily News will be serializing a special edition of the first four chapters, with the saga beginning Monday.

“Bite of the Wolf” is a spy thriller novel with horror and science fiction elements, featuring the exploits of secret agent Val West, known as Code Name: LoneWolf. The novel also weaves historical fiction into the mix, creating a globe-hopping adventure that will appeal to action-lovers, as well as those interested in mythology surrounding World War II.

The peril-packed supercharged adventure takes readers on a ride as a veteran secret agent is bitten by a werewolf. He then finds himself in a race to stop this mysterious monster’s diabolical plans and find a cure for himself.

“Serializing novels has a long literary tradition, with some notable examples being many of the classic works of Charles Dickens, through the Tarzan novels of Edgar Rice Burroughs, Ian Fleming’s James Bond, and even the Star Wars film novelization,” said Gayan. “It’s a thrill to be able to partner with The Daily News to bring a special version of this story to their readers.”

“Bite of the Wolf” is available to order online at Amazon in Kindle, paperback and hardcover formats. For more information, go to the official website at www.codenamelonewolf.com.
