Escanaba Vet Center in a new location

Escanaba — The Escanaba Vet Center has moved to a new location at 301 N. 30th St., with a grand opening, ribbon cutting and open house set for 11 a.m. Eastern time Friday.

Vet centers are community-based counseling centers that provide a wide range of social and psychological services, including professional counseling to eligible veterans, active-duty and reserve service members, and their families. These confidential services are provided at no cost in a comfortable, non-clinical setting.

“We couldn’t be happier to be moving to a new vet center in Escanaba,” said Jim Harsh, Escanaba Vet Center director. “Local veterans, service members, and their families have sacrificed so much to keep our country safe. Our vet center team — many of whom are veterans themselves –are ready to make sure that anyone who visits this location will get the care they need and deserve.”
