Golf scramble for Iron Area Health Foundation

The Iron River Care Center recently made a $1,000 donation to the Iron Area Health Foundation as a major sponsor for the foundation’s upcoming golf tournament fundraiser. The golf tournament will be Sunday at Young’s Recreational Complex. The foundation thanks the Iron River Care Center for their support as a major sponsor. IRON RIVER — The Iron Area Health Foundation will sponsor a four-person golf scramble fundraiser Sunday at Young’s Recreational Complex.

Registration for the fundraiser scramble is now open. Entry fee is $300 per team which includes cart, 18 holes of golf, morning donuts, pizza buffet dinner and a goody bag for every golfer.

Payout for the tournament will be $1,000 for the first-place team, $750 for the second-place team and $500 for the third-place team. Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. Sunday with a shotgun start at 10 a.m.

Entry forms can be found on the Iron Area Health Foundation Facebook page or Young’s Recreational Complex website. Entry forms and team fees can be sent to Young’s Recreational Complex, 159 Young’s Lane, Iron River, MI 49935.

All proceeds from the fundraiser tournament will go to the Iron Area Health Foundation and help their continuing support of healthy living initiatives in Iron County.
