MENOMINEE — The Salvation Army will host a Feeding America Mobile Food Pantry at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 18, at the YMCA, 1600 West Drive, Menominee.

A Mobile Food Pantry contains 15,000 pounds of food sent on a truck in order to provide for 300 families in need, on a first come first serve basis. It will continue as a drive-through process.

“We are excited to have a sponsor this month. Samuel Vessel Pressure Group will be not only sponsoring the truck but also sending hardworking volunteers to help. We are grateful for their continued support of this program to help alleviate hunger in our community,” Major Rhegan Stansbury said.
