Members of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2891 and Auxiliary collected 15 bags of trash along a 2-mile stretch of U.S. 141 between Crystal Falls and Amasa on May 13. The post adopted that portion of the highway and has remained dedicated to keeping it free of trash and debris. They expressed appreciation to the Iron County Road Commission for providing the vests and garbage bags.
