FLORENCE, Wis. — The Northwoods Geology Club will meet at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 23, in the lower level of the Florence Natural Resource Center.

Eric Jensen, Ph.D., will give a presentation titled “Geology and History of Florence County.” Jensen is an exploration geologist with 30 years of experience. Currently he is general manager of exploration for EMX Royalty Corp.

All ages are welcome to attend the meeting and presentation. A drawing for door prizes takes place at the end of the meetings. No dues are required, but donations are always appreciated.
