IRON MOUNTAIN -- The First Methodist Women are busy planning the annual Cornish Market to take place from 9 a.m. noon on Saturday, Sept. 30 at the church, 106 Fourth St. in Iron Mountain.
Recipes passed down through the generations will be featured as they celebrate their Cornish heritage. Available will be Saffron buns, seedy buns, Cousin Jack cookies, potato cake and jelly tarts, along with mini-pasties, traditional bakery and snacks.
The Cornish Cafe will be open and ready with a slice of traditional one-crust apple pie and scalded cream, with coffee or tea.
