With the generous support from Tadych’s Marketplace Foods in Iron Mountain, a fundraiser is planned Tuesday for Carole Schultz, at left with Tadych’s Iron Mountain Store Manager John Gray. Schultz is currently undergoing cancer treatment. Cupcakes will be sold during regular business hours, with funds going to Schultz. She will join her friends at Tadych’s from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. to share conversations with shoppers. Schultz was diagnosed in June with an aggressive uterine, ovarian and cervical cancer that forced a pause on her employment. She moved to Iron Mountain in 2014 from Florida. She worked at Home Depot and currently is a cashier at Tadych’s. Co-workers will say you usually hear Schultz before you see her. All proceeds will go to help with medical bills, household expenses and travel expenses for medical appointments.
