CRYSTAL FALLS -- Senior adults are invited to learn more about their fish and wildlife neighbors from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday at Fortune Lake Lutheran Camp in Crystal Falls.
As part of his presentation, Bill Ziegler, retired Michigan Department of Natural Resource fisheries management biologist, will share photos captured by trail cameras, revealing the various species of wildlife that reside in area forests.
Ziegler graduated from the University of Michigan School of Natural Resources with a bachelor of science degree in fisheries.
Prior to working in the U.P., he was a federal fisheries biologist in northern Wisconsin, Minnesota, and the middle Mississippi River region.
Also interested in photography and storytelling, Ziegler has written for The Daily News and for two of Michigan's popular outdoor magazines.
