Rural health town hall

MARQUETTE — The Northern Michigan University Center for Rural Health will host a U.P. Community Health Town Hall webinar about direct care workers and the field of caregiving from 7 to 8 p.m. Eastern time Thursday.

The caregiving guest panelists include: Eric Paad, founder and president, Caregiver Incentive Project; Clare Luz, director, IMPART Alliance, College of Osteopathic Medicine-MSU; Shenae Kreps, direct care worker, private duty; and Timothy Niyonsenga, LMSW, senior program officer, Healthy Aging and Caregiving, Michigan Health Endowment Fund.

The U.P. Community Health Town Hall is a free, monthly virtual webinar series that focuses on new health-related topics each month. Webinars take place on the last Thursday of each month and can be viewed live at 7 p.m. Eastern time.
