AURORA, Wis. -- The Challenge A Class of Classical Conversations will host its annual science fair at 6:30 p.m. Friday at Aurora Free Church, 1372 Osterberg Parkway, just outside Aurora. All are welcome to attend.
"The students and I learned a tremendous amount about the scientific method and proper research and analysis over the past 10 weeks," said Kathy Wilson, the students' Challenge A seventh-grade tutor. "I encouraged the students to select projects they would find particularly interesting so they could maintain excitement about their experiment throughout the process."
At the science fair, the students will be judged by their ability to follow the scientific method, including stating their research problem and question, background research, hypothesis, experiment, analysis and their results.
All of this information is gathered in their lab journal and then written into a finished product, a final research paper.
