Congressional Art Competition seeks entries

WAUSAU, Wis. — U.S. Rep. Tom Tiffany’s 7th District office is accepting submissions for the 2024 Congressional Art Competition.

All high school students in this Wisconsin district are encouraged to participate.

“Each year I am amazed by the talent among the young artists in northern and western Wisconsin,” Tiffany said. “I am looking forward to seeing how each of these students describes Wisconsin through their artwork.”

The Congressional Art Competition gives each U.S. congressional district the ability to have artwork crafted by young constituents displayed in the U.S. Capitol building in Washington D.C.

This year’s theme is “A day in the life of Wisconsin.” Entries need to demonstrate a Wisconsin theme, and each submission must be mailed or hand-delivered to Tiffany’s Wausau office, 2620 Stewart Ave., Suite 312, Wausau, WI 54401, by 5 p.m. Friday, April 5.

Each entry must be original in concept, design and execution and cannot violate U.S. copyright laws. For more information on competition guidelines, go to Tiffany’s website at https://tiffany.house.gov/.
