IRON MOUNTAIN — Katelyn Bertrand was the recipient of the 2023-2024 Iron Mountain-Kingsford General Federation of Women’s Clubs’ Bay College West Scholarship.

Bertrand was awarded $1,500 for the 2024 winter semester at Bay College to help with the completion of her nursing course of study.

The scholarship for the fall semester of 2024-2025 is now being offered by the Women’s Club. Any current Bay West female student with financial need is eligible to begin the application process for the upcoming semester.

This is a non-traditional scholarship intended for a female student who has had a lapse in her educational course of study and is in need financially to be able to complete her educational requirements.
