The Saintly Stitchers Quilt Guild of Norway will host a display of “Yooper Quilts” at Bay College West in Iron Mountain. The exhibition will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Admission for the viewing is free. An open house is planned at 6 p.m. Monday, with members present to answer questions. These original design quilts are a depiction of the U.P., divided into eight sections that each highlight local attractions. The guild was pleased to be invited to submit these into a limited competition in Grand Rapids in 2022. Other quilts done by members will be on display as well. Information on becoming a guild member also will be available during the event.
