FLORENCE, Wis. — The Northwoods Geology Club will begin their 2024 season of meetings at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 24, in the lower level of the Florence Natural Resource Center — follow the Division of Motor Vehicles signs to the back parking lot.

All are encouraged to bring a favorite rock to show at the meeting. Also, if anyone has rocks, minerals or other items to give away or trade, bring them along.

They will be planning the summer field trip schedule during the meeting, so those attending should come with ideas to fill up the calendar. All ages are welcome to attend and door prizes are drawn for at the end of the meeting.
