Bishop Baraga Assembly 0512, the patriotic arm of the Knights of Columbus known as the Fourth Degree, recently welcomed 18 new members through its exemplification program. This program details and emphasizes the characteristics and long history that define the Fourth Degree as religiously devoted and patriotically proud. Living out the charisms that define the Knights of Columbus — charity, unity and fraternity — Fourth Degree Knights work within their communities through local council activities and have the added honor of serving as color guard members for various religious functions and engaging in civic duties such as flag raising at the VA medical center and March For Life.
