FLORENCE, Wis. — The Northwoods Geology Club will begin its 2024 season of meetings at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday in the lower level of the Florence Natural Resource Center. Those attending should follow the DMV signs to the back parking lot.

All are encouraged to bring a favorite rock to show at the meeting. Anyone with rocks, minerals or other items to give away or trade should bring them as well.

They will be planning the summer field trip schedule during the meeting, so participants are asked to come with ideas to fill up the calendar.

All ages are welcome. A drawing for door prizes takes place at the end of the meeting.
