NIAGARA, Wis. — The Friends of the Niagara Public Library will host an Author Talk featuring Niagara native and author Andrew J. Graff at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Niagara Public Library, at 1029 Roosevelt Road in Niagara.

Graff is the author of the novel “True North,” which explores the intersecting currents of marriage, family and adventure against the backdrop of the northwoods of Wisconsin.

Drawing on his own experiences and expertise, Graff weaves a compelling narrative that follows the journey of Sam and Swami Brecht as they navigate the challenges of running Woodchuck Rafting Company amidst a changing river landscape and personal tribulations.

Graff, who teaches at Wittenberg University in Ohio, brings a depth of insight and storytelling prowess to his work, creating characters and scenarios that resonate deeply with readers.

His Author Talk promises to offer attendees a unique opportunity to delve into the creative process behind “True North,” explore themes of resilience and community, and gain valuable insights into the craft of writing.
