EAGLE RIVER, Wis. — The Enchanted Doll Club of the Northwoods will have its monthly meeting at 1 p.m. Thursday, May 16, in the meeting room of the Kalmar Senior Center, 1011 N. Railroad St. in Eagle River.

The meeting will focus on dolls that come with suitcases of clothes and accessories. A large variety of dolls with suitcases have been made beginning with the antique dolls of the 19th century. Barbie and American Girl carried on the tradition.

Members will share some of their dolls who came with these suitcases.

The doll club welcomes guests who would like to learn more about dolls or share their own doll with a suitcase.
