GWINN — State of Michigan Retirees and their guests can attend a luncheon meeting Monday at the Up North Lodge Events Center, 215 S. County Road 557 in Gwinn.

The luncheon will begin at noon Eastern time.

The lunch buffet will include Up North ribs and fish and fowl specials, along with a select vegetable and potato selection, followed by a dessert and beverage. Cost of the reservation will be $20.

Special speakers for the event will include Arva Overton, Blue Cross insurance specialist for the State of Michigan Retirees, and a presentation on TRIAD in the Marquette County area, which provides protections and services for senior citizens.

All members of SERA –State Employee Retirees Association — and their guests are welcome. Any retiree from State of Michigan employment is welcome to attend.

The members of the 906 SERA board of directors for 2024 will be introduced at the meeting.

Members can pay 2024 dues at the meeting.
