Caspian Progressive Men make donations

The Caspian Progressive Men recently presented donations to a number of community organizations. From left, Secretary-Treasurer Art Aregoni presents $320 for The Duke Of Abruzzi Building Restoration Fund and $100 to Kathi Long, director of the Iron County Historical Museum and Museum Volunteer Denise Maloney; member Robert Remondini presents $100 to Michael Peterson, representing The West Side Veterans Fireworks Program; Caspian City Manager John Stokoski receives $500 from President Mark Stauber, as Stauber also presents $100 to Caspian-Gaastra Fire Chief Mat Jacks for the annual children’s party; and Caspian Police Chief Terry Post receives $500 from member James Paul for the city K-9 program. The Caspian Progressive Men challenges any donor to consider donating to the Duke of Abruzzi Building Restoration Fund, which is currently in the process of restoring the century-old building. The public should consider patronizing the Duke’s annual summer rummage sale Thursday to Saturday. Interested parties may contact Art Aregoni at 906-265-3730. The Progressive Men would like to thank the public for supporting the organization, along with the Iron County Golden K Gifts from Santa raffle and placemat projects, which the Progressive Men participate in. The Caspian Progressive Men, a non-profit corporation since 1968, continually endeavors to assist the City of Caspian as well as any other worthy cause in the community.

Starting at $3.50/week.
