FLORENCE, Wis. — Florence County Historical Society is having a raffle for a quilt expertly made and donated by Joan Spears and long-armed stitched by Patti Wabitsch.

Other prizes include a handmade Amish-style rug, quilted carryall bag, engraved cutting board, wooden hanging planter, bird house, hummingbird feeder and engraved insulated cups, all made and donated by local crafters.

Raffle tickets will be available during the summer at the museum or from members for six for $5 or one for $1. The raffle drawing will be Sept. 1 and ticket-holders need not be present to win.

The museum will be open from 10 a.m. to noon Thursday through Saturday throughout the summer months.
