Poetry workshop planned at the Crystal Falls library

CRYSTAL FALLS — Troy Graham will lead an Imaginative Poetry Writing Workshop at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Crystal Falls Community District Library.

All are invited to the free workshop. Refreshments will be served.

Graham is a poet and songwriter from Marquette. He has independently published several poetry books and was named Marquette’s City Performer of the Year in 2022.

His writing style is often characterized as saying a lot with few words.

The dynamic interactive poetry workshop will have many exercises focused on helping to expand thoughts through poetry and learning strategic methods to shorten those ideas to paper.

Those who attend this workshop will be given the judgment-free space to write what they think and feel and will have the opportunity to share.

The library is at 237 Superior Ave. in downtown Crystal Falls.

For more information on the program, contact Evelyn Gathu at 906-875-3344 or egathu@crystalfallslibrary.org.

Starting at $3.50/week.
