FLORENCE, Wis. — The Northwoods Geology Club will have a picnic at Keyes Lake pavilion beginning at 1 p.m. Sunday. Those planning to attend should follow Highway 101 south out of Florence for a few miles and will find the park on the right.

The club will provide sandwiches and soft beverages. Participants should bring a dish to pass, dessert or something to snack on. A short meeting will take place, including election of officers. Anything rock or mineral-related to swap, sell or give away should be brought along as well.
