‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ coming to Crystal Theatre screen
CRYSTAL FALLS — Crystal Theatre in Crystal Falls will show the Marvel Studios’ film “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” at 7 p.m. Saturday.
The 2022 Oscar-winning film was written and directed by Ryan Coogler, staring Letitia Wright as Shuri/Black Panther, Lupita Nyong’o and Danai Gurira.
The storyline follows Queen Ramonda, Shuri, M’Baku, Okoye, Dora Milaje and the people of Wakanda as they fight to protect their kingdom from intervening world powers and mourn the death of King T’Challa. Shuri says, “I am the Black Panther, and I have come for retribution.”
As the Wakandans strive to embrace their next chapter, the heroes must band together with the help of War Dog Nakia and Everett Ross and forge a new path for their nation.
The film is rated PG-13.
“Come dip your toes into the Marvel-verse and experience ‘Wakanda Forever’ on Crystal Theatre’s big screen,” Managing Director Kristin Underhill said.
