ST. LOUIS, Mo. — Kiera Sullivan of Florence, Wis., was named to the dean’s list for the spring 2024 semester at Washington University in St. Louis. Sullivan is enrolled in the Sam Fox School of Design and Visual Arts.

To qualify for the dean’s list in the Sam Fox School, students must earn a semester grade-point average of 3.5 or higher and be enrolled in at least 14 graded units.

ADELPHI, Md. — Adam Stewart of Iron Mountain was named to the dean’s list for the summer 2024 term at University of Maryland Global Campus.

To be eligible for the honor, a student must complete at least six credits during the term, earned a grade-point average of at least 3.5 for the term, and maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.5 at UMGC.

UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. — Teagan Petschar of Iron Mountain is among more than 650 students from Saginaw Valley State University whose determination and commitment to academic excellence earned them a spot on the winter 2024 semester president’s list.

To be eligible for the president’s list, a student must take at least 12 credit hours and earn a 4.0 grade-point average.

UNIVERSITY CENTER — Nearly 1,800 students from Saginaw Valley State University earned a spot on the winter 2024 semester deans’ list.

Leah Winch of Iron Mountain was among those honored for academic excellence.

To be eligible for the deans’ list, a student must take at least 12 credit hours and carry a semester GPA of 3.4 or better.

DAVENPORT, Iowa — Madison Scarlassara of Crystal Falls has been named to the 2024 spring trimester dean’s list at Palmer College of Chiropractic’s Main Campus in Davenport, Iowa.

MANCHESTER, N.H. — Two local students have been named to the summer dean’s list at Southern New Hampshire.

Wyatt Gibler of Kingsford was named to president’s list. Amanda Corey of Iron Mountain was named dean’s list.

Full-time undergraduate students who have earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.700 and above for the reporting term are named to the president’s list.

Full-time undergraduate students who have earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.500 to 3.699 for the reporting term are named to the dean’s list. Full-time status is achieved by earning 12 credits over each 16-week term or paired eight-week terms grouped in fall, winter/spring and summer.

ALBION — Albion College scholar athlete Ellison Powell was recently named to the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association 2023-24 Academic Honor Roll. During the 2023-24 academic year, Powell was a member of Albion’s softball team.

The MIAA Academic Honor Roll recognizes student-athletes who maintain a 3.5 grade-point average for the academic year and earn a varsity letter in an MIAA-sponsored sport.

Powell is majoring in political science and is a member of the Prentiss M. Brown Honors Program. Powell is the child of Jeffery Powell and Shannon Powell of Iron Mountain and is a graduate of Iron Mountain Senior High School.
