NORWAY — Tickets are available for the Dickinson County Community Theater production of “Sideways Stories From Wayside School,” adapted by John Olive from the book by Louis Sachar.

Shows will be at 7 p.m. this Friday and Saturday and Jan. 24-25; and at 2 p.m. Sunday and Jan. 26 at the Norway High School Fine Arts Center.

The play is directed by Marti Nord.

In the story, Wayside School was built with one classroom on top of another — 30 stories high. (The builder said he was sorry.)

Maybe that’s why all kinds of funny things happened at Wayside, especially on the 30th floor … This is a fun, and wacky show that will leave your sides hurting from laughter.
