Elder law program at the library Wednesday
IRON MOUNTAIN — Attorney Jacob Spear will host an informative educational seminar on the basics of estate planning and elder law from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at the main Dickinson County Library in Iron Mountain.
This adult program will cover estate planning, trusts and wills, protecting assets, power of attorney and more. A period for questions and additional resources will be available after the program.
“Whether you are concerned about losing your home to pay for nursing home costs or have young children that could benefit from early planning, this event will provide you with information at an easy-to-understand level,” library director Megan Rose said.
Spear has been practicing estate planning and elder law for seven years and is licensed in both Wisconsin and Michigan.
He practices with Heirloom Law Group P.C., which serves Northern Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
