Annual duck race in Niagara
NIAGARA, Wis. — The 11th-annual Niagara Knights of Columbus “Jeff Champeau Memorial” Duck Race will be Saturday, July 19, at the Niagara Heights Park.
The grounds will open at 3 p.m. A beanbag tournament starts at 4 p.m. Washer game for children, 50-50 drawings and several random drawings will also be available.
Refreshments will be available on the grounds. Those who attend are asked not to bring carry-ins.
Live music will be performed by Willow Ridge and The Woodshed Band. The grounds close at 11 p.m.
Ducks are available for $5 each, six for $25, 12 for $50 and 25 for $100, which gains entry into a special $500 cash prize drawing. Ducks may be purchased at the race or in advance from Bob Burton at 715-251-4714. Ducks can also be purchased from any Niagara Knights of Columbus member or at various local establishments in Niagara and the surrounding area.
