PEOPLE TAKE PART in the 2024 Corpus Christi Procession in Norway. This year’s event will be Sunday from Immaculate Conception to St. Mary and St. Joseph in Iron Mountain.

IRON MOUNTAIN — The Iron Mountain-Kingsford area Corpus Christi Procession will take place Sunday afternoon.

Beginning ceremonies will be at 12:30 p.m. from Immaculate Conception Parish, then proceed 1.5 miles to St. Mary and St. Joseph Parish for benediction and closing ceremonies.

Those unable to walk that distance are encouraged to participate in opening ceremonies and then drive to the closing ceremonies.

The Corpus Christi procession route:

— Exit Immaculate Conception Church about 12:30 p.m. and proceed to the back of the church toward Stanton Street;

— Turn left onto Stanton and proceed west toward Millie Street;

— Turn left onto Millie and proceed south toward Blaine Street;

— Turn right onto Blaine and head west toward Vulcan Street;

— Turn left onto Vulcan and head south toward East Main Street;

— Turn right onto East Main and head west toward Stephenson Avenue/U.S. 2;

— Turn left onto the side walk of U.S. 2 and proceed south toward East Ludington Street;

–At East Ludington cross U.S. 2 and continue west on East Ludington, heading towards Prospect Avenue;

— Turn left onto Prospect Avenue and proceed to the entrance of St. Mary and St. Joseph Catholic Church, the conclusion of the walk.
