FLORENCE, Wis. — The Northwoods Geology Club will meet at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 25 at the Florence Natural Resource Center, lower level. Follow the DMV signs to the parking lot.

People of all ages are welcome to attend and door prizes are drawn for at the end of the meeting.

There will be a presentation given by Ruth and Michael Riesch of the Earthaven Museum titled “Geology and History of Iron Mining in the Lake Superior Region.”

The Rieschs have given several presentations over the years and have all been well attended. Community members and visitors are all welcome to hear this interesting presentation.
